On 13 November 2024, a Shenzhen session of the “Legal Wisdom for Business, Steady Progress in Guangdong” foreign-related legal-services programme was held for foreign-invested enterprises. The official report states that the event was guided by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Justice and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, and co-organised by the Shenzhen Municipal Justice Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.
Jay Chen (Chen Zhifeng), a partner at Guangdong Zhuojian Law Firm, gave a presentation on protecting the rights and interests of foreign investors and resolving disputes. The reports describe his discussion as covering market access, intellectual-property protection, data protection, contractual performance, compliance and the practical use of litigation, arbitration and mediation.
